Clarity

The Blue Mountains, west of Sydney, are somewhere I have regularly visited ever since childhood, so it seems strange that I have never been there to take photos before now!

The post title is inspired by the crisp mountain air and beautiful vistas although crisp may be somewhat of an understatement- cold enough to cut into your face is probably more accurate- and this made life a little tricky! I've battled cold weather while shooting before, but I can honestly say I struggle to press the shutter release on some of these!

Anyhow, after an amazing weeked I feel like I have only really scratched the surface here and I am really hoping to make this this first many roadtrips to explore this beautiful part of the world!

The above is shot deep underground in the Jenolan caves- I promise you that not only is that the real colour of the water, but this photo could not do justice to how wonderful it is to stumble out of a dark tunnel into a view like this.

My favourite shot is last as always- this time not only for the sheer beauty, but also because it was the one I worked the hardest to get! And because I smile whenever I look at it.
